12 inch or larger box truss, provided by the theater, located approx. 4-7 feet from the downstage edge, trimmed out at 25 feet to the bottom, guyed out and down off of each corner for stabilization (no movement up or downstage or side to side), and in place when we arrive. Theater is responsible for whatever means necessary to stabilize truss.
Two offstage points for pulling- one trimmed out at 25 feet and semi secure (no onstage movement) and one to be anchored at or near deck level. The top point may be on the truss if the truss is close enough to the wings. The deck point may be attached to a pin rail, column etc., or a platform with D ring to be loaded with stage weight if necessary ( min. 750 lbs., platform and weight provided by theater). If we travel with a winch, as yet undetermined, this weight will be used to anchor it.
Stage weight if necessary, and at least two 20 lb. sandbags
Genie lift or other means to access truss/points
4 stagehands for pulling, strong bodies with pulling experience preferred
Theater to provide means for hanging two upstage drops, one painted and one fiber optic. The painted one is to be used before intermission and the fiber optic after. Best if both are hung pre show and the painted drop is either flown out or lowered in and removed during intermission.
